I’ve been missing from my blog a bit lately, although I have continued to update my facebook and twitter quite often. The immediacy of social media sometimes makes me forget that I have a blog too ;)
So I’ll condense in this post what has been happening in the almost month and a half that I have not been here.

These drawings are part of a new serie that I am calling ‘Wonderland friends’ for the moment and with which I am veeeery happy. I have already started to put some color on them, trying the new technique I told you about, and that I will show you a preview a little below. But first of all, here are the drawings:

I have been wanting to try a new technique of digital painting since I don’t know when, but I still have not been able to. Finally I have decided to try it with the last drawing I’ve done.
The image you see is the first part, which is the pencil drawing and shading.
Now I just have to do the next step on the computer with Photoshop.

Hace mucho tiempo que quiero probar una nueva técnica de coloreado digital, pero entre unas cosas y otras, todavía no he podido. Al final me he decidido a probarla con el último dibujo que he hecho (bueno, el penúltimo ;)
La que veis en la imagen es la primera parte, que es el dibujo a lápiz y sombreado también a lápiz.
Ahora sólo me queda pasarlo al ordenador y trabajarlo con Photoshop.
¡Deseadme suerte, la voy a necesitar! ;)

After verifying that making toys is not incompatible with doing other things, here’s the last one I’ve made. I wanted to try to put a more realistic-looking hair, but it was a little nightmare, maybe if she had been bigger, it would have been easier.
What hair do you think fits my dolls best? I vote for Aiko’s one ;)

Tras comprobar que no es incompatible hacer muñecos con hacer otras cosas, aquí tenéis la última que he hecho. Quería probar a ponerle un pelo con aspecto más real, pero ha sido un poco pesadilla, igual si la hubiera hecho más grande hubiera sido más fácil.
Qué pelo pensáis que le queda mejor? Yo voto por el de Aiko ;) Feliz día!
I like making dolls too much, and sometimes I don’t realise that I have a long list of more important things to do … Let’s see if I can do them… ;)
This is my first doll with super hair included. I started her to test a technique for adding hair, but I had no idea how to dress her, so I improvised. Hope you like her! Have a nice day everyone!

Me gusta demasiado hacer muñecos, pero tengo que dejarlo porque ahora mismo tengo una larga lista de cosas más importantes que hacer… A ver si lo consigo… ;)
Ésta es mi primera muñeca con pelazo incluido. Empecé a hacerla para probar una técnica para añadirle pelo, pero no tenía ni idea de cómo vestirla, así que fui improvisando. Espero que os guste! Feliz día!
My friend went to buy a few things the other day, and here you can see him with the full pack ;) He had a great time in his day at the beach, until a wave came by and took away all his stuff… LOL! With the shock I forgot to take a picture with the floater on, so that remains for the next time.

Mi amigo fue a comprarse unas cositas el otro día, y aquí podéis verle con el pack completo ;) Se lo pasó muy bien en su día de playa, hasta que vino una ola y se llevó todas sus cosas… jajaja! Con el susto se me olvidó hacerle una foto con el flotador puesto, así que queda pendiente para la próxima vez.
